When Linda Hucker ran to Bashas’ for a few groceries, she had no idea that Volunteer Driver Bob Johnson was taking her on the 500^th ride of the Freedom Express.  Bashas’ Manager Brad Sweeny congratulates Linda Hucker and Volunteer Driver Bob Johnson on 500^th ride for Wickenburg’s Freedom Express 60+ senior transportation program.

The Salvation Army and the Foundation for Senior Living have partnered to provide an affordable transportation program for seniors in Wickenburg. The Salvation Army Service Extension Unit currently provides emergency assistance for individuals and families in Wickenburg and the surrounding communities including Aguila to Circle City, and Congress to Yarnell.
